Rail Projects Signaling (RPS), founded in July 2021, is a Colombia-based engineering firm specializing in Railway Signaling Control Systems (RSCS). Our mission is to provide safe, reliable and high-quality services based on our technical expertise and hands-on experience. We are committed to successfully managing, executing, and maintaining RSCS projects of any scale.

Our team combines extensive local and international experience having contributed to a variety of RSCS projects from freight and mining to light rail systems. We are passionate about driving progress in the railway industry both in Colombia and around the world.

What we do?
RPS Consultancy & Engineering is the division of RailProjects dedicated to provide technical and engineering expertise for RSCS projects tailored to meet our clients’ specific needs. We have experience in projects including but not exclusively: Wayside Signaling, Positive Train Control (PTC), Level Crossings, Automated Train Operation (ATO) – GoA4 and Tramway Signaling amongst some.
We recognize that every project is unique and adapt our approach to align with our clients’ expectations, the nature of the project and the conditions of the environment. What we do?
RPS Field Services focuses on meeting the specific requirements for railway signaling and telecom equipment installations. We also ensure the proper integration of these components within the larger railway systems by coordinating effectively with subsystems such as Civil, Track, Traction, and Power.
Our field services include:
- Site management for the installation of signaling (SIG) and communication (COM) equipment
- Planning, monitoring, and controlling the installation process
- Managing site installation and overseeing on-site changes
- Configuration management
- Technical and managerial interface with the client
- Conducting field inspections and delivering assessments as needed
- Managing and controlling inventory rotation
- Creating and maintaining installation-related documentation
In addition to these services, we recognize the complexity of each project, along with the needs of our clients and stakeholders. To fulfill this need, we collaborate with our partner Jovega Ingeniería S.A.S., which specializes in the installation and testing of signaling equipment, providing a holistic solution to ensure compliance with both local and international standards.
