Diego is the founder of Rail Projects Signaling (RPS) and is driven by his passion for the railway industry. With over 13 years of extensive experience in working at different levels of engineering and management of complex railway projects in Australia, Colombia, the United States, Ecuador, and Canada, he has developed robust expertise in the field.

Diego has worked in projects involving Positive Train Control (PTC) systems, Wayside Signaling, Level Crossings, Automated Train Operation (ATO) level GoA4, Tramway Signaling and others. His knowledge of these systems combined with strong leadership skills enables him to effectively guide teams in delivering successful railway solutions. He holds the status of MEMBER of the Institution of Rail Signal Engineers (MIRSE), a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Andes University in Colombia, an MBA and a Master in Sustainability from Monash University in Australia. Diego’s commitment to excellence and proven track record can contribute tremendous to the success of projects.

Luisa Fernanda is a highly experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 29 years of expertise in accounting, financial management and strategic planning. She has a proven track record in preparing financial statements, tax compliance and financial analysis and is committed to the continuous improvement of processes in order to ensure financial accuracy/transparency.

Her career spans different leadership roles, including Financial Manager at Darplas SAS where she worked for close to 18 years, Lead Accountant at Nazca Diseño Imagen S.A.S and more recently leading the Finance Department at RailProjects since November of 2023. She holds a degree in Public Accounting from Universidad Santo Tomás and specialized in Financial Management & Organizational Development at Universidad Central. Luisa has continued to improve her finance and accountancy skills through continuous career development by undertaking additional courses and certification in advance in Taxation, IFRS, and Financial Planning to stay updated with global trends.

With strong communication and teamwork skills, Luisa is dedicated to delivering strategic financial solutions that drive our business success.

Paola is a highly skilled administrative professional with strong communication abilities, excellent organizational skills, and a proven track record in team leadership. With diverse experience from different sectors, she brings expertise in managing customer interactions, coordinating administrative tasks, and supporting the team. Adaptable to different work environments, she has a goal-oriented mindset and is eager to contribute with the organization in tasks she performs.

She is currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration and continuously enhancing her skills through various certifications.

Amelie is a highly skilled railway professional with over 10 years of experience in planning, construction, and commissioning large rail projects in France, the UK, and Canada. She has a proven ability to manage all phases of project planning, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.

Throughout her career, Amelie has demonstrated her capability to deliver results in dynamic environments. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanics & Materials and a Master’s in Mechanics/Management of Innovation, both from engineering schools in France. Her fluency in French, English, and Mandarin enhances her effectiveness in collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders. Recently, she expanded her skill set with training in Software Development, positioning her to contribute innovative solutions in the rail sector.

Alejandro is a results-driven, proactive, and highly adaptable professional with extensive experience in business development, processes, and supply chain optimization. He has successfully led and developed businesses in both Colombia and China, specializing in sourcing goods and services from Asia. His expertise spans various industries including auto parts, industrial security, and photovoltaic products while building and maintaining strategic business relationships across international markets.

His background in processes development, decision-making, and leadership, combined with my ability to adapt to new environments, has allowed me to thrive in various markets globally, including the United States, Australia, England, and Italy. He is a ISO Tri-Norm Certified Auditor and there is doubt that Alejandro´s skillset and commitment is an advantage to the organization.

Gabriela Ávila

Gabriela is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in electrical engineering and railway signaling systems. As a Testing and Commissioning Engineer at Alstom for the Cuenca Tramway Project, she managed Train Traffic Control and oversaw the maintenance operations. Gabriela was also responsible for verifying the operational and link tests for the SCATS and HORUS light signaling systems.

From July 2018 to February 2019, she also served as a Tramway Signal Luminous System (TSL) Installation Supervisor for the same project, where she led the installation and commissioning of tram light signaling systems. Gabriela’s strong discipline and technical expertise enable her to deliver effective solutions to complex challenges in the railway sector.

Robinson Camacho is recognized as one of the most knowledgeable and experience Signal Supervisors in Colombia; with over 30 years of experience in the railway signaling and communications sector. His career began in 1992 with Ferrovías where he worked in the Department of Communication.

From 1994 to 2000, Robinson was part of the Odebrecht Team which deliver an ATP signaling solution for the Fenoco rail corridor. His dedication, skills, and expertise led Fenoco to hire him in 2000 where he took on the role of Signal Supervisor for the Santa Marta – Chiriguaná corridor.

In 2014, Robinson played a fundamental role in delivering the signaling PTC solution for Fenoco, implementing the Incremental Train Control System (ITCS) developed by GE at that time. He remained with Fenoco until 2020. In 2022, Robinson took on the role of Signal Supervisor for the DLTD-Prodeco signal interlocking project while working with Jovega Ingeniería and in August 2024, he joined RPS in the same role, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to enhance our signaling operations.
